VascuChek’s Clinical Doppler and Flow Determination
With the VascuChek®’s clinical Doppler device, blood flow determination is easy. Using ultrasound gel, place the clinical Doppler probe’s tip directly on the vessel or test site. Once you’ve maneuvered the probe to the correct site location, adjust the angle between the clinical Doppler probe and the vessel until the maximum audible signal is obtained.
Designed and manufactured with simple controls, the VascuChek® clinical Doppler system allows you to easily adjust the transceiver’s volume control to your desired level. Once blood flow is detected, the resultant’s audible pitch signal corresponds to its velocity, with higher pitches indicating higher velocities. If it’s difficult to hear blood flow from the clinical device, adjust the device’s volume increase switch. This user-friendly switch allows you to increase or decrease the clinical device’s volume quickly, effectively, and without assistance from a nurse.
