How It All Began

With more than 30 years of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry, Remington saw a need to improve outdated vascular medical equipment. As experienced manufacturers, we didn’t hesitate to move forward with more modern innovations.

More than two years ago, Remington leaders took a deep dive into the functionality of a vascular Doppler device that had been used by top surgeons and clinicians for decades. Our team realized that traditional vascular equipment has an extensive list of inefficiencies, including long cables, poor quality speakers, and an unreliable battery source.

After reviewing the list of flaws that came with traditional vascular equipment, it was clear that the healthcare industry had an urgent need for a new and improved way to check patient blood flow more effectively. Multiple prototypes were created, and after choosing a design that exceeded our expectations, we interviewed more than 100 of the nation’s top physicians and surgeons to ask if our vascular Doppler device would be a valuable addition to the market. We reviewed the results, and there was no doubt that the healthcare industry would benefit from a Remington vascular Doppler product.

The VascuChek is a cordless Doppler system that eliminates the need for cables. It can be used in a sterile and non-sterile environment, giving you complete freedom to check your patient’s blood flow without cable interference.

Thanks to our patented sheath deployment method, you can use the VascuChek wireless Doppler system in a sterile environment. This gives you full-control over all facets of the vascular check process and frees up your circulation nurse to tend to other responsibilities.
