With the VascuChek® surgical Doppler system, you’re able to take complete control of vascular flow checks and give your nurse the freedom to take care of other important OR tasks.
VascuChek® is the first handheld and cordless surgical Doppler system that uses disposable Doppler probes to produce sound representing blood flow within a vessel. It’s intended for the intraoperative and transcutaneous evaluation of blood flow in the following clinical applications:

VascuChek®’s Surgical Doppler System and Flow Determination
With the VascuChek® surgical Doppler system, blood flow determination is seamless. Using ultrasound gel, place the disposable Doppler probe’s tip directly on the vessel or test site. Once you’ve maneuvered the probe to the correct location, adjust the angle between the Doppler probe and the vessel until the maximum audible signal is obtained.
Designed and manufactured with simple controls, VascuChek®’s surgical Doppler system allows you to easily adjust the transceiver’s volume control to your desired level. Once blood flow is detected, the resultant audible pitch signal corresponds to its velocity, with higher pitches indicating higher velocities. If it’s difficult to hear blood flow from the sterile Doppler probe, simply adjust the device’s volume switch, which allows you to increase or decrease the volume quickly, effectively, and without assistance from a nurse.
Disposable Doppler Probes for Surgical Use
VascuChek®’s sterile Doppler probes are single-use sensors manufactured for sterile field usage. Each detachable, disposable Doppler probe includes a sheath covering the transceiver.
You can purchase VascuChek®’s disposable Doppler probes for surgical procedures in bulk, with 40 sterile Doppler probes in each case. Four boxes of probes come in one case, giving you 10 disposable Doppler probes per box.
